Vegan delight – chia pudding

Ingredients:

  • chia seeds
  • cacao (raw)
  • dates (fresh or dried)
  • coconut flakes
  • vegan drink of choice or coconut water

It’s better to use glasses with covers, so the meal can last longer in the refridgerator. The pudding should last up to three days, but you probably won’t know, as it’ll be gone much sooner. 😉

Note: chia seeds can either be whole or grinded, the gelish pudding structure forms either way.

  1. Cut the dates into 3-4 smaller pieces;
  2. take a glass of desired size;
  3. for smaller-dessert size: put in about two soup spoons of chia seeds, one coffee spoon of coconut flakes, half of coffee spoon of cacao and two dates;
  4. for meal size: about 4 soup spoons of chia seeds, 2 coffee spoons of coconut flakes, ¾ coffee spoon of cacao and 4 dates;
  5. pour in the vegan drink of desire, about 1 to 2 cm above the dry ingredients to cover them well. Stirr thorouhgly so that the drink reaches all of the chia seeds;
  6. cover the glass with a lid and put in a fridge for about three hours or over night.
