We’ll be talking about a specific brand that goes by the name Klekljančki.

We all like pretty things and jewellery definitely belongs in this category. It’s very important to know where the materials come from, since the precious metal and stone industry are large environmental issues.

Thus I prefer to buy, I rarely do, but when that is, my lewellery locally, from local producers with clear portfolio of their material supply.

My dear friend makes this beautiful lace jewellery.

In her words: »I created this business because under the name Klekljančki (translates as bobbin lace) I want to present various small products of bobbin lace, which are connected primarily by the purpose: to beautify modernity with the old technique.«

She makes earrings, necklaces and bracelets in various shapes. My personal favourites are the animal, sea and music themed (shells, snail shells, treble clefs, owls, etc.).

Wearing jewellery made by hand, specially by hands you know, is a special energetic experience – it fills you up with light.
