Invest – into the heart and soul

The real abundance comes from the inside.

Every day, when you can, stop for a moment. Ask yourself – how am I? What do I need right now? Can I do something to feel better, to make me happy?

Mostly we aren’t aware of the good things in our lives and focus on unnecessary details, instead of focusing on the most important things: time, relationships, happiness and hobbies.

Time

We can’t store time, we can only live it. Use the moment, when we are completely present, when time expands and we feel endlessly alive. How about trying to put it all away and just think about what makes us happy? The key is to just slow down. Free ourselves of things, tasks, expectations, bad relationships and time will expand.

Relationships

It is one of the essential needs, following the physical needs. Giving our attention to those who are important to us, brings even more joy than receiving the attention. Friendship grow stronger when we tell each other what we like about each other. Don’t just stay with the assumption that your family member or your friend knows what you like about them, tell them. Also tell them how much you appreciate that you can trust them.

Spending relaxed time together, laughter and sympathy gives us life energy.

Environmental abundance

Our environment – nature, is a sacred homeland. It needs to be protected. The modern civilisation is focused only on the benefits, to extract as much as possible, which is short-lived to say the least. The apple from the old apple three that grows in the area, or even in our garden, or the cucumber that grew in our garden, is much more nutritious that the tasteless produce in the supermarkets.

Gardening, the produce we grow, even on the balcony, makes us feel the soil, taste and obtain the right energy, makes us move, think and feel the nature. If not sooner, this will make us respect the nature and see that it’s the home to everything, everyone. It is very generous to us, treat it with respect and gratitude and in return, be generous to it.

Food

What you put in your body, reflects 100 % in your life quality. Make time to research which food serves you best. Make time to carefully pick that food and make time to enjoy it to the fullest.

We all know we don’t have that time, that’s why we said make it. It can be done.

Creative abundance

Be creative. No matter what it is, we all enjoy creating something. Whether that be dancing, making music, playing instruments, crochet, draw, write, carpenter, make mosaics etc. The possibilities are endless. This brings pure joy, thus we develop it and it undoubtedly improves our lives, it may even change them. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the game, expressing our love for life.

If you don’t have a hobby, ask yourself – what do I want to express? Your soul will show you the way.

Spiritual abundance

For this kind of abundance we don’t need any specific religion or rituals. Just feel the world. Whoever can feel everything is connected, has reached a deep spiritual level. Feel as a part of the universe on which we can rely. We can experience this unity anywhere and anytime, even in ordinary details. It’s really that simple. We all have this ability, but it’s also too easy to overlook it. This is where the way is, just be present, notice, see and feel. In this moment. This can be practiced anytime. When we are fully present by doing even our daily tasks, we do it with feeling and passion and thus improve many things: ourselves, our work being done, our relationships and our lives to every detail.

In finding your internal abundance you can help yourself with these questions:

  • What or who really matters in your life? Do you dedicate enough time to it/them? For what or whom would you want to make more time?
  • What does your soul long for?
  • Are you content? Does the rhythm of your life suit you? If not, what kind of rhythm do you want? Can you do anything to change it for the better?
  • Do you have space in your life for unpredictable, spontaneous and unplanned events?
  • Who do you feel the best with? Who are those with whom you feel you need to try to be someone more, better? Who are those with whom you don’t feel good?
  • Are your social needs full?
  • Which activities make you forget the time?
  • Do you know how to spend quality time by yourself?
  • Can you think of moments where you feel the all-encompassing connection? Could you feel this more often?
  • Do you trust life even in times of setbacks and crises?
  • Where do you most feel a part of nature?
  • Where and when do you feel fulfilled?

You can write down the answers, you can always add to the list everything that matters most to you.
