A basic biscuit that you can use in many variations. It is very quick, easy and simple to make.
Ingredients:
- 350 ml of water
- 1 package of vanilla sugar (8 g)
- 370 g of flour
- 1 baking powder
- 30 g of sugar
- 4 spoons of cocoa or cacao
- a pinch of salt
- 250 g of dark chocolate
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
In a smaller bowl mix the oil, water and vanilla sugar. Stir, so the sugar melts.
In the second larger bowl mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cocoa.
Add ingredients from the first bowl to the second larger bowl. Mix and stir until the mass becomes homogenous. You should get a fluid mass which you pour into a cake model (d = 28 cm or smaller).
Bake 40 min.
Ideas for using this biscuit:
- just top with melted chocolate
- cut in half or thirds horizontally thus getting cake waffers you can fill with various cake creams, marmelades, fruit, etc.
- top with pudding (vegan, of course) and coconut cream and/or chocolate
- mix the dough with chocolate chips, put the dough in muffin moulds and get chocolate muffins!
